Gun Control
I realized with sherlock holmes like instincts that by the end of the book Hedda would shoot herself. I realized this once i had read , at the end of Act one, that hedda plays with guns. this could only mean that she was going to shoot hersled, what else could it mean. What i am trying to say is that Hedda needs a new safer hobby, like crocheting. Also the pistols are a very blatant symbol for her desire for power/power. i mean she play with people, like she plays with guns, and geaorge doesnt want her to play with the pistols, as he doesnt like being pushed around under her influence. Basically, Hedda is out of control, who plays with guns?

lol. obviously psycho Hedda plays with guns. :(
i think the guns reflect her out of control behavior. she's just nuts.
this woman threatened another woman that she was going to burn her hair off. NUTTY!
i know, i mean what kind of child hood ahs she had where she plays with guns and buns girls hair off, or atleast threatens to do it. maybe her childhood is the reason for her actions. she was raised in a masculine enviroment, with her father the general, and with this influence it might have caused her to become overly aggresive and power hungry, and thus sterotypically masculine in her actions
